Nandi Series

The bull at the gate. Nandi is the male half of the animal, and the half the milk economy has no use for. A breed cannot be conserved through its cows alone. Without the bulls there is no next generation of that breed, only crossbred cattle wearing its name. These designs are for him: the carved Nandi outside the temple, and the working bull who is the same animal.
